History
Blog Scene, owned and operated out of the UK by Mattian is a Blog Hosting web site - focusing on providing features and reliability which is unmatched by any other blog host.
Originally set up in December 1996 under the mattian brand, and after being many different things in many different incarnations - Mattian started allowing users to write content on our sites in 2000, before moving to the current blog hosting scheme in 2002.
Blog Scene was created in the summer of 2006 as a more blog focused name for the web site We have seen visitors triple in just a few months, and we are now pulling in over over 20,000 unique visitors a month, with user, blog entries and comment numbers growing steadily.
Blog Scene is unique for being completely advert free, even our free users don't have to worry about adverts, we are committed to, and constantly achieve a reliable and secure service.
