Some sort of happiness

The happiness house is sickening to those of us who don’t get it, isn’t it? You know the house I am talking about. It’s the one where the whole family is just blissful with all kinds of happiness all the time. In fact, people in the neighborhood think they are freaks with all of the happiness they experience. Nobody ever overhears a fight and the kids never seem to act up. The happiness house makes us all feel just a little less worthy and just a little more inept. Yet the happiness house is really an inspiration even if we don’t wish to admit it. The happiness house is the house we want to sneak up on in the middle of the evening and look into as if we could learn their secret by mere observation. Maybe we should befriend the people of the happiness house. After all, if they are as happy as they seem then not only might we learn something but we are bound to enjoy their company. Maybe we don’t feel we are happy enough to be friends with its inhabitants. Oddly enough, their joy is the one thing that keeps people away. How interesting it is that we are more fearful of befriending people who are genuinely and obviously happy over people who are obviously not overflowing with happiness. What would happen, I wonder, if we all threw our care into the wind and settled on just asking the people of the happiness house what they are so happy about all the time. My guess is that the answer would seem so blazingly simple. What Is Happiness

It seems to me that everyone has at least once in life asked himself the question – what is happiness and why people cannot be happy all the time. Philosophy and psychology have always tried to answer these questions. Happiness is the feeling of complete, whole satisfaction with life. In fact, it is individual and variable as the reasons which cause happiness can be different and even contradictious for different people.
One feels happy with a slice of bread, and another is happy when he has modern conveniences or money. Somebody needs only to read a book or to buy a ticket to the theatre. Other people feel happy when their family and friends are happy. A person has some aim in life, fulfils it and feels happy. Then a new aim appears and new tortures to get it. A human can not be happy constantly as there is always something to make your life better.
I should say that practically all of us are happy but the main difficulty is to feel it. In general, if you are healthy, have a shelter, have a couple of friends and somebody loves you – that is the reason to be happy. Often we do not think that some people even do not have this and are happy. The only thing you need to become happy is to find at least something in your life which is satisfying. A good way to feel happy is to fall in love.
Smile the more the better and learn to be happy with all you’ve got. Try to pamper yourself and be optimistic.
If you feel unhappy

Today we come across a great number of different problems, which unsettle us and make our life unbearable sometimes. As a result of nervous overload and overstrain, we feel unhappy and upset. Despite all difficulties and hardships we go through, we must be strong and keep a good heart. We simply have no other way out. If we feel unhappy, we make things still worse. This is like a vicious circle. Our unhappiness is provoked by difficulties, but at the same time due to unhappiness we experience more difficulties. That is why in order not to aggravate the situation, never plunge into depression and try to cheer up. Try to relax, divert your attention from your current problems and think about something very pleasant. Sleep well, visit your friends, be active and don't lose heart. Think about people, who despite all their problems, which are maybe even more serious than yours, keep going and are in good spirits. If you compare your problems with problems of some other people, you will see at once, that your problems are nothing in comparison with problems of these people. Yes. No one argues, life is a difficult thing, but it doesn't mean that you should be depressed. Try not to feel sorry for yourself very much and help other people. Self-sacrifice is the best treatment from unhappiness. Mind it and reconsider your attitude to life.
Happiness and stupidity

Happy people are stupid people. This point of view is inherent the most of pessimists. They think that the real state of affairs doesn’t allow people feel happy. They can always find weak points in everything. However, I can’t subscribe to this point of view. I think that happy people simply pay no attention to difficulties and unpleasant aspects of life. Some of them are very happy because of some fact, others, are happy without any serious reasons. In this case it is extremely difficult to dissuade them from their reasons for being happy. Happy people are mighty people. They are happy despite everything: despite all possible hardships, all problems they face and all their shortcomings. I think that the fact that happy people overlook disadvantages of our life doesn’t imply their stupidity. They overlook them on purpose. They do it to avoid everything, which prevents them form experiencing this feeling. They understand that it is impossible to be in a bad mood all the time despite the fact that in any case it is quite possible to find suitable reasons for that. These people are happy and this emotion is self-sufficient. Pessimists can’t grasp it. They think that all people’s feelings and emotions are motivated and are closely connected with reality and reaction to it. However, there are people, who have strong immunity against all hardships and are in high spirits in any situations. I think that these people are an example for us to follow.
Happiness

Happiness is a very complex feeling. Though, it would be more right to say that the understanding of happiness is difficult to understand. The very feeling of happiness is familiar to all people. That is why there is no special need to explain its essence or give anatomy of happiness. However, reasons which make people happy are different. It is sp very understandable, because all people are different; they have different characters and temperament. That is why each person has his/her reasons for being happy. There are also people, which are happy without any serious reasons for that. This category of people is very scanty and it is a rare privilege to meet such a person. These people differ qualitatively from all other categories. Though the majority of people experience the sense of happiness for different reasons, they have much in common, because they have reasons which make them happy. On the contrary, people who are happy without any reasons are really happy and all others experience artificial happiness. In any case, if happiness is provoked by something, it is temporary as everything becomes boring with the lapse of time. That is why this happiness is a mere reaction to some things or events. In case with true happiness, a person is happy all his/her life because nothing can prevent this person from experiencing this wonderful sense. This sense is an attitude towards life and is not a mere reaction to some things or events.
