We live in the world among people. We call people around us a society. People are united by many kinds of different ties. Family relations are the first an individual faces at the very beginning of his life. Neighbourhood and people around us develop our ideas about the world around us and help to make relations what can be called a little model of society. Education and work develop our concept about society, and we start to understand general rules of society development. We understand that state, people and economic side of life of the whole country are integrated with the life and development of society. We do our best to develop our strong sides and gifts to be more useful for our families, our work and business and our society as well.We have obligations, and these obligations make us follow the rules of life accepted in the society. These rules, worked out for centuries, serve for possibilities of people live, work, protect and provide families and develop the country and enlarge its power at the international stage.
People and society are inseparable. We are small particles of it, and it can disappear if we break all relations between people.
Progress of society

Many people are skeptical about the notion of progress and development of society in general, believing that progress leads to "ecological disaster", "exhaustion of resources, the destruction of tradition and the degradation of moral values." Such reasoning is often accompanied by nostalgia for the "good old days", calls for limiting consumption, etc.Over the past 200 years, many predictions of imminent impasse, which must come the development of mankind. Some people foresaw catastrophe due to overpopulation (as a result of success in reducing the "natural death"), then were predictions that London will appear in dung (as a result of the development of transport) that the city will die because of the smog (due to the spread of steam engines working in the coal), that oil will end and the economy would collapse, that the ecology and our environment will be destroyed, etc.
Neither they nor hundreds of other similar projections are not met. The reason for this is that they do not take into account the progress made on the basis of stability and used a set of technologies and limited resources. Resources at any one time is indeed limited. But progress allows us to continually expand the range of resources, so their total volume is constantly growing. For example, only 200 years ago, oil was not a resource. This process can last almost forever: in theory, with large deposits of hydrogen, you can get almost unlimited energy and any substance.
