Executive chef Daniel Connors was fussing around, claiming, “There is no bigger kitchen facility in the Quad-Cities. You don’t have to gamble to dine here; we expect to serve 1,000 to 1,200 a day.” A couple things especially impressed. One was the restroom walls, covered in leather. Another, the softness of the carpeting, like a cushiony bed. I suppose that’s important, because a lot of the gamblers will be on their feet.
